Cristina Raines as Lane Ballou in the Flamingo Road episode 'The Victim', the second episode of the second season.

Cristina Raines on Flamingo Road - Pic #1

Since I haven't had much fresh material to post, I'm going to start posting images of Cristina Raines on Flamingo Road. As you may know, Cristina Raines played Lane Ballou from 1980 to 1982 on the NBC nighttime soap opera Flamingo Road. The first picture I'm going to post is from 'The Arrangement', the first episode of season two which originally aired on November 3, 1981.

Cristina Raines in Russian Roulette again

Here is another photo of Cristina Raines in Russian Roulette, the 1975 film in which she co-starred alongside George Segal, Peter Donat, Louise Fletcher and Denholm Elliot.

Another very nice photo of Cristina Raines

A very kind person (who I would like to thank right now) sent me this photograph recently, scanned from an old issue of TV Guide. Once again, Cristina Raines looks absolutely lovely!

Cristina Raines in Russian Roulette

In 1975, Cristina Raines was in the movie Russian Roulette. The movie starred George Segal as a Canadian cop and Cristina Raines second-billed as his sometime girlfriend/co-worker. I thought it was a pretty good movie and particularly enjoyed Cristina Raines in the film. Russian Roulette is not all that well remembered today perhaps because it has not seen a wide re-release on dvd like so many other classics have. However, the movie has seen a German dvd release, though the print has obviously not been cleaned up too too much. If you haven't seen the film and have an opportunity to do so (and you like Cristina Raines), it is worth taking a look at. Her role in the movie is not huge but she does have some good screen-time and looks beautiful throughout!

Russian Roulette promotional photo

Here is a great promotional image of Cristina Raines and George Segal from the 1975 movie Russian Roulette. I have seen a few other promo pics from Russian Roulette, but they mostly feature George Segal. I would love to see other publicity stills of Cristina Raines from the film. Hopefully, they will turn up sometime because she really was great in Russian Roulette!

Cristina Raines in The Child Stealer

In 1979, Cristina Raines played supporting roles in two made-for-TV movies, The Child Stealer and The Tenth Month. I haven't seen either movie, but I know that both are out there somewhere. I'd love to see both movies and I do plan on obtaining them at some point!

The Child Stealer starred Beau Bridges as a man who kidnaps his children following his divorce. Cristina Raines plays his new love interest. The following year Cristina Raines and Beau Bridges would team up again the next year for the 1980 film Silver Dream Racer.

Here are two pics of Cristina Raines in The Child Stealer:

Cristina Raines in Nightmares

In 1983, Cristina Raines made a very memorable appearance in the first segment of a four story horror anthology film called Nightmares. The project was originally a TV movie which subsequently had some scenes added and was turned into a feature film. Cristina Raines stars in the first part of the movie, in a story called 'Terror in Topanga' in which she plays a smoker who needs a cigarette so badly that she is willing to go out and buy a pack even though there is an escaped killer on the loose in her area.

Here are two Nightmares lobby cards featuring Cristina Raines:
